Liu Xue Hua is really the best person for the role of Yiyi. She does not have to say anything. Her acting is that good that she does not have to say a word. By just reading her actions and facial expressions it is enough for us to get emotionally entangled in the plot. I cried buckets EVERYTIME I watch the series.


Lin Rui Yang also gave a very convincing show of his acting talent. He is well matched with Liu Xue hua. They do make a very compatible pair of lovers.

I like this movie a lot. It is just so touching. My heart goes out to the mute Yiyi.

A great movie, good acting by all the characters. The picture quality is as good as it gets for the price you paid. Definitely worth buying.

Beautiful, just beautiful... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Touching story about love between a traditional, deaf mute woman and a man with modern ideas. Jing Yan, the main male character, is forced to marry Fang Yi Yi, a deaf mute. He grows to love her with his utmost passion. Their perfect relationship, however, crumbles when tragedy strikes and Jing Yan makes a horrible mistake that cannot be rectified.

I spent most of the time crying..a true classic love story!

Liu Xue Hua was fantastic as Yi Yi and was believable as a deaf mute. Her performance was touching and mature. The actor portraying Liu Jing Yan (I think his name is Lin Rui Yang...) filled the screen with his passionate charisma. His performance should be applauded, especially when he cries after the tragedy..

I remember when i first saw this movie i got a very bad cold and cant sleep at all. Plus i was watching this movie my eye cant stop crying i dont know why but i can you all that this movie is number 1 in my heart luu tuyet hoa is the best actoress. oh i bough this movie too
