這是一個刺激奇妙的電影，一個我們不會留意的故事，因為周遭的我們每天都發生著相同的事。

The year 2000 will be the year of the Dragon in Chinese lunar calendar. It is said to be the most eventful amongst the twelve Chinese horoscopic symbols. As the 20th Century draws to a close, Asian citizens face decision on many unprecedented options brought by their new found freedom as they began to realize the world will never again be the one as portrayed through their cultural traditions. Through three traditional rituals: a wedding, a baby shower and a funeral this human drama of warmth and understanding takes us through the live of the members of a middle-class urban family in a typical cosmopolitan city of Taipei to preview the prosepects of the next Century's arrival.
This story is a human drama of adventures and fantasies we very often take for granted because they happen right in our daily lives.
