CF로 처음 얼굴을 알리며 사람들의 궁금증을 자아냈던 뉴에이지 아티스트 이루마. 당시 영국에서 활약하며 유망한 젊은 음악가로 인정받고 있었던 그는, 드라마 <겨울연가>의 최지우 테마곡을 작곡, 연주함으로써 차츰 국내에 알려지기 시작했다. 그러나 이미 국외에서는 인정받는 음악가로 유럽, 아시아 등지를 무대로 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있으며, 2003년 후반기에는 미주 지역으로 활동 영역을 확대할 예정이다.

이 책은 이루마의 피아노 악보집으로, 3집 'From the Yellow Room'의 전곡과 함께 이전에 발매됐던 2장의 정규앨범과 2장의 영화음악 앨범 중 사람들의 사랑을 받았던 곡을 선별하여 수록했다. 드라마 <여름향기> 테마곡 'Kiss the Rain', <겨울연가> 중 'When the Love Falls' 등 모두 30곡의 악보와 함께 그의 프로필, 디스코그래피, 인터뷰 등이 실려 있다.

Yirumas pieces are just beautiful, thats all there is to it. This book has got alot more pieces in it than you usually get in a piano book so it's worth the money I think.
He's my favourite composer and I go though ALOT of piano music.

Just recieved this in the mail last week, the piano book is amazing : ). Yiruma's songs are so peaceful yet full of emotion. It IS twenty bucks, but definitely a worthy buy for piano lovers and Yiruma songs!
