Huang Qi's song "Ni Shi Wo De Yan" (You are my eyes) became well-known in Taiwan when Lin You Jia (Yoga Lin) from Xing Guang Da Dao (Million Star Season 1) sang it. He also sang it again on Season 5 of the show with a fellow contestant, the performance brought tears to people's eyes. This is an extremely touching song that Huang Qi wrote and I highly recommend his album to everyone out there. =)

Love is blind Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Huang Qi's debut album is nothing short of a masterpiece. What most people don't realise is that Huang Qi is blind. And what is more striking is that he was not born blind but lost his sight in his youth. There is no greater loss perhaps than to have seen beauty and then suddenly losing that ability altogether.

In this album, Huang Qi showcases not only his vocal talents - crossing between the soulfulness of the ballads and the child-like tinge of the playful numbers - but also writes and produces most of the songs as well.

Many of the lyrics perhaps reveal the inner struggles that Huang Qi has gone through since lossing his sight but they also show the resilience and triumph of courage over adversity. Is there a favourite song you might ask, my only reply would be that they are all great and it would be terrible to single out one over all the other wonderfully written and sung songs.

Highly recommended.
