This is a story of love in a prostitute world. Too emotional, too real and too heartbreaking. Jeon Do Yeon manage again to mORPH into her character with out any seeming difficulty. she is truly a professional actress. Scenario and dialogue are what makes this film really too POIGNANT to watch. I like it with a heavy heart...go figure!

Wow! What a great film! "You Are My Sunshine" grabbed me at the beginning and never let go. I was swept up and thoroughly enchanted by this astonishing, heartbreaking story of true love.

Shakespeare wrote: "Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds... O, no, it is an ever-fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken." (Sonnet 116) Those lines are the perfect summation of this deeply moving, brilliantly acted movie.

Very, very highly recommended for mature audiences by your humble servant.

A very touching and charming story. Fantastically acted by both Jeon Do-yeon and Hwang Jeong-min in a romantic story which is funny, tearful, tragic and poignant. Although this film seems to have a radical theme concerning a prostitute relationship, its not a heavy film (like "Downfallen/Ch'ang"), as its so pitched at the right 'temperatures' with its blend of melodrama, tragedy and humor that radical never really comes to mind when you slip into this film's well paced and comfortable story. Get ready with the eye wipers, though, as its sad moments feature at the latter part. I liked how Jeong-min's character instantly falls in love with the girl, too, as she rides her moped into town: the fact that she is a sex worker makes little difference - his dropped jaw at her 'heavenly vision' says it all. No matter what the backgrounds of anyone, too, this film well expresses the universal nature of human love that shines through in the human heart, where love can conquer all. Yep, for the romantically inclined, get this movie while its still available and I'm sure that it will give you hours of sunshine.

Check out Do-yeon's other films too, (if you haven't seen these) "My, Mother, the Mermaid", "The Contact" and "Harmonium in my Memory" are all recommended, but these examples show how she can meta-morph into her amazingly adaptive and creative persona's. Sorry, Jeong-min I haven't seen enough of your other films, as yet, to compare.

This movie surpassed my expectation. The setting, the story and the actors are superb. This movie is about a man loves a girl who works as a prostitute. In the past she was married to a horrible man but despite that he loves her just the same. You will definitely cry your heart out. Needs a lot of tissue till the end. Sad ending though but its worth watching.

Great movie. Slow at first, but once the story develops, it's very good. The male lead was impressive. Very inspiring. Even after discovering his wife's emotional and physical secret, he still remains loyal. A true love story. Make sure you have tissues.

lovely movie Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
The movie was pretty slow in the beginning which made me kinda fade in and out. towards the 2nd half i became more interested and got sucked into the movie. I was mad at Jeon Do Yeon's character because what she did to Hwang Jung Min's character and the betrayal and lies she gave him. You feel sorry for Hwang Jung Min's character because all of the sacrifices he made to be with her and how he never stopped loving her. You then feel sad about Jeon Do Yeon's character because of what she goes through. The scene with both characters are at the police station towards the end is moving and you can't help but shed a tear, prob the only powerful scene in the movie imo. Good movie, only thing that'll stop me from watching it again and again is the length of the movie.

After seeing the trailer, I was really interested in seeing it. Wasn't disappointed either. Excellent performances delivered by the two main co-stars, especially the guy (Jung-Min Hwang). You'll laugh, cry and be moved by this story of undying love.
