2nd single~
| Tourbillon isn't wasting anytime releasing things, which is a good thing. This single is very different sounding from the previous one, which is also a good thing. This time 'your place' is written by Inoran, and that's pretty awesome, since the 'Heaven' was written by Hayama. 'Your place' is a very uplifting and happy song, with nice some nice acoustic guitar intelligently intergrated into some parts of the song. This song really reminds me of Luna Sea a lot! I really and truly believe that all of their solo projects after Luna Sea still have reminents of that same sound from that era, because you can also say these same things for the flare (Sugizo's band). Of course they will never achieve that same sound again because they have all grown older and changed, but I really don't think that is what they are trying to do. They are trying to go on down a road branched off of Luna Sea. Anyways, the real surprise on this single is the 2nd track, which is just an instrumental track, hence there are only three tracks on this single instead of the 4 that were on the last one (2 tracks + 2 instrumentals). This is one of the most beautiful pieces on a piano i've heard. Hayama is a great pianist, and there is also violin and some other interesting sounds that add to this track. This is without a doubt one of my favorite tracks that they have released yet! It reminds me a lot of some of Sugizo's solo work pre- Sugizo and the Spank your Love Crew and the flare. Highly reccomended!!! |
