Cannes International Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival is a two-week event held in Cannes, France every May since 1946. The top two prizes, the Golden Palm Award and the Grand Prize of the Jury, are among the most prestigious awards given out at any international film festival. In many circles, the Cannes Film Festival is considered the premier international film festival.
