昏庸好色的齊宣王（新馬師曾飾）在一次打獵中，碰上了風姿綽約的鍾無艷（于素秋飾），二人一見鍾情，定下婚盟。本以為一對天作之合就此成，豈料當齊宣王看見無艷臉上的大胎痣時，嚇得目定口呆，惜齊王金口已出，非不得已下只好立無艷為正宮娘娘。文武雙全的無艷入宮後多次協助齊王解國難，但可惜齊王卻沉迷於西宮娘娘夏迎春 (李香琴飾) 的美色，正所為「有事鍾無艷，無事夏迎春」，鬱鬱寡歡的無艷，帶著悲傷的心情為齊國出征……

Well done and entertaining opera.

If you are a Ms. Yu and Mr. tang fan, don't miss this comedy opera. Plot is better than average and make sense, also the sound and film is well preserved. But I think the singer dubbing for Ms. Yu is not as sweet sounding as the one who did "Valiant Pan An" for her. I usually do not enjoy Ms. Lee's performances even though she is very very good, but here she looked very pretty and played the foxy lady, so it is a bonus to see a more pleasant side of her. I just bought the DVD and am very pleased. |

ZHONG WU YAN GUA SHUAI ZHENG XI
| This is a good classic opera movie. It has comedy, drama, good singing and beautiful opera type martial art. Also the two main characters acted by Ms. Yu and Mr. Tang had done a fabulous job. |
