　　二代中比照前作採用「二人+一匹＝無限」的特殊戰鬥系統，玩家可以任意切換男女主角以變換不同的戰鬥型態。男主角拉古納是名年輕的尋寶獵人，擅長近身肉搏，操弄著非劍非刀具備滑翔、爆發等多功能的奇特機械；女主角艾薇則是具有萌屬性的吸血鬼一族公主，能自在運用元素魔法席捲敵手。

　　第三名同伴將依照玩家選擇而定，將是可愛的貓咪、狗狗、小鳥以及妖精，除了協助撿拾道具、幫玩家回復體力，也會使用各自的特技直接參與戰鬥，而且玩家如果有細心餵食的話，說不定會出現「貓咪→金毛獅王」的意外變化！不知道更帥氣的寵物是不是也蘊含更神奇的力量呢？
