Winter Sonata was more than just a television drama, it became a cultural phenomenon when it aired in Korea in 2002. The immensely popular wintry melodrama starring Choi Ji Woo and Bae Yong Joon became the driving force of the Korean Wave that would sweep Korean pop culture to every corner of Asia. The drama has been adapted into an animated series in Japan, where Winter Sonata is especially popular. Aired in 2009, the 26-episode Winter Sonata anime revisits the heartwrenching love story of Yoo Jin and Joon Sang, high school sweethearts who tragically separate in their youth, but meet again as adults when Yoo Jin is engaged to childhood friend Sang Hyuk. Bae Yong Joon and Choi Ji Woo did the voice acting for their animated counterparts, and filmed a new live-action ending scene for the series' finale.

Box 2 comes with the uncut, complete versions of Episodes 14 to 26, plus making of live-action ending scene, DATV special, and message from voice cast. Also includes a memorial photo set.
