<겨울연가>는 학창시절 운명적인 첫사랑으로 인해 인연의 굴레에 얽힌 세 남녀(준상 유진 상혁)의 사랑 이야기. 남자의 죽음으로 첫사랑에 실패한 여자가 10년의 세월이 흘러 결혼을 앞두고 첫사랑과 똑같이 생긴 남자(민형)를 만나면서 걷잡을 수 없는 혼란에 빠진다는 감성적인 내용으로 전개된다.
앨범의 타이틀곡 '처음부터 지금까지'는 하얀 영상에 어울리는 피아노 연주속에 신인가수 류의 섬세하고 감미로운 목소리가 어우러져 겨울의 정서를 잘 담아내었다.
또한 연주곡 '하얀 연인들'과 리메이크곡 '제비꽃' 등은 20대 시청자들뿐만 아니라 30, 40대 시청자들에게도 많은 관심을 받고 있다.

This is one of the best soundtrack i ever heard. When you hear it you can imagine what the scene is.
Ryu sang the song perfectly. Eventhough i had it 6 year ago, i never bored to play it, so enjoy the drama
and soundtrack

The "Winter Sonata" OST album is a nearly flawless collection of intensely romantic music. Feeling overwhelmed by the cares of the world? Pop this album in your CD player -- both the songs and the instrumental music transport the listener to a sweet and peaceful place. If you love beautiful ballads, you can't beat this collection. I recommend it highly.

 Soul-stirring music Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Am non- Korean and depended only on the English subtitle when viewing Winter Sonata. I loved the story but most of all the music captured my heart. It is sooooo soulful and having searched far and wide for the soundtrack I am so happy that I discovered yesasia.com. Now I listen to my CD the whole day! I only wish there was an English version/translation to the songs but listening to the melody in Korean is still soul-stirring. More power to the Music staff and everyone who made this CD possible. The melody is simple and clear, especially the instrumental piano version. I highly recommend it to ALL nusic lovers!

This is my first collection of K-Drama OST and the beginning of my love affair with K-Drama. Before I discovered Winter Sonata, my friends told me how good K-drama was but I was not all that impressed because I do not know the language and its culture, least of all, RYU, BYJ and CJW were unknown to me. It so happened that one day I was surfing through TV channels and there it was Winter Sonata's opening scene with the theme song "From Beginning to now" playing that caught my attention. I do not know whether it was RYU's beautiful singing, the romantic melody or it was BYJ/CJW or ALL which attracted me stayed tune to finish the whole series. And I watch it again and again. Each time it gives the same thrill as it was the first. I listen to the OST endlessly and never feel tired of it. All the songs/instrument are beautifully written, match with the sentiment of the story line. Track no. 13 "Lover" - there are two versions: RYU sings in Mandarin in this one, but there is a Korean version in his other album. As a whole, it is an excellent piece of work. Although there is one song "Moment" missing but still it is a collection item that I would recommend to all music lover even if you do not like the drama, you would certainly adore the music score.
