Megan Lai (Café. Waiting. Love), Huang Yuan (Sex Appeal) and Darren Wang (Our Times) hit the ground running in the Taiwan sports drama 10,000 Miles. Helmed by new-generation director Simon Hung (Battle for Skyark), the inspiring film is co-produced by pop superstar Jay Chou and ultramarathon legend Kevin Lin, who completed the grueling Silk Road Ultra Marathon depicted in the film.

Since childhood, Kevin (Huang Yuan) has looked up to his older brother Sean (Darren Wang) and followed him around like a shadow. As Sean is the star of the high school marathon team, Kevin naturally also wants to join the team, but he gets turned away. His determination, however, wins over assistant coach Ellie (Megan Lai), who trains him on the side. Through training together day in and day out, the two begin to grow closer and closer, but an injury throws both of them off course. Kevin's injury weakens his drive to run and awakens Ellie's past trauma from her marathon days. To fulfill his promise to Ellie, Kevin takes on the ultimate marathon challenge.
