Needs More of Him!!
This CD doesn't make any sense to his humor. I think that even though that he is Jackie's son, he needs more lesson from him instead by some inexperience singers. Even though he is a young singer to begin with, I think that he is trying his best, but still he needs to learn more about singing by his father. |

Are sure its good?? i dont think so
Most of these people writing a review are probably around late 30s or early 40s. I'm 20 and i heard the album, let me be the first to say that it was horrible. Well some good songs were in there, but it was pathetic to make album. What is thinking....he should really lay off the music thingy. On second thought he should really lay off the movie thingy too, because his performace in the ablum and movies aren't very good to watch and listen. I recommend watching and buying his father's ablum and movies "Jackie Chan" instead.
Overall: just horrid, absolute waste in money. go buy a JAY CHOW/ ZHOU JIE LUN ablum |

A Breath of Fresh Air !
I have been listening to JAYCEE for over a month every day in my car as I travel to drop off my kids and go to work, as well as on the way back home. It's the most interesting compilation I have heard thus far.
The music is fresh, clear, and the voice of Jo Ming is extremely soothing. Each song is sung with a different vibe to display the various moods of the song. Even for someone like me who does not speak Chinese at all, I can through the vibe and expression, relate to the song. It is ofcourse a commendable collection, as it is songs based on real life "adventures" and experiences of the singer. I absolutely love the MV's and I am looking forward to seeing in the near future a DVD collection of MV's of all the songs on Jaycee. My personal favorites are: Walks while sings Jui Dong Ting Manual Walls Saturday Night Wants to be Strong JAYCEE Well.. I just realised that if I go on - I'll be listing the ENTIRE CD ! I Love it, it's brilliant and definitely worth recommending! |

What a GREAT VCD !!
I LOVE all of the songs, esp. "Must Be Strong" and "Jaycee".
The sound is very crisp throughout and is not complicated with over-done additional electronic embellishments, but is clean and simple revealing very clearly the voice and instruments to their optimum levels. Jaycee's style is refreshingly unique - a breath of fresh air, "sunny" and indeed makes one feel better after having listened to it - centered with inner energy. This is audible creativity at its best. The "Walks While Sings" MV is Very nicely filmed. Jaycee "walks" in Hong Kong on the busy streets to strolling and hiking in the beautiful large green rolling hills as he "walks" to eleviate life's stresses as his father is away at work making films, and his mother is busy as the lyrics say in story form. [ Or so I've read in articles on the internet via the Alta Vista Bable Fish translation site. ] Jaycee's skill as a songwriter is blazingly evident in the self composition of the music and lyrics of nine of the songs on his CD, and his future as a singer/songwriter couldn't look any brighter. I Very HIGHLY recommend this VCD for Everyone ! :o) Marie M. Oklahoma USA |

Musically better than Dad
I think this album is definitely better than Jackie Chan previous albums. Jaycee more of a singer voice than his dad who have a movies voice and not a true singer. Jackie Chan as just trying to bank from album which are definitely nothing hot compare to Jaycee.
Good out and support Jaycee not because of his famous dad but becasuse of this singer talent as a newcomer. |

Woo,he has a great voice! My favorite song is I still love u. I encourage all of u who understand Mandarin to buy this cd, including those who don't b/c it's really worth it. Next time I hope he can sing in cantonese. I'll be one of the first ones to get that cd. Actually I haven't finshed listening to all the songs yet but so far they're all Mandarin. Keep it up, JC! |

Admirable Effort
I love all of the tracks on this special edition. It's fresh, vibey and very entertaining. The music is genuine and admirable
I don't understand much Chinese, seeing that I am not Chinese, but each song is sung with a unique emotion and tone of voice to suite the mood of the song. The energy in the vibey songs is very apparent. Voice articulation is very good, but can be better :-) I love the compilation - it's a billiant piece of work and the demos show that a lot of hard work went into it. Fantastic - these days I don't want to listen to anything but the "Jaycee" CD :-) My personal favorites: Walks while sings Wants to be strong Little Boy (brilliant) Angel :-) - so sweet Saturday Night Track 10 - don't know the Chinese name for it - but I think the chorus is "wo hai ai ni" Track 11 as well - xie xie ni... |

Not bad, can't wait to see the next album
Jaycee Fong, with his clear voice and charming tunes, is obviously not going to need a ride on his father's coattails. You'll float on a cloud as you listen to the twelve "serious" tracks, but you'll laugh your way back down to earth at the silly demos, like Saturday Night With Mom or Yao Qiang, which are a refreshing breath of air that show much humanity, which we sometimes forget celebrities have. He can only get better and I can't wait to see what he'll do next. |

after a second listen, there are some good songs
after a second listen to Jaycee Chan Fong Jo Ming's debut music cd, there are songs that really stand out for me, tracks # 4, 5, & 9 are catchy
it is great that JC can write his own songs, but maybe he will be able to get other writers to pen him some nice songs for future releases the track towards the end with his mother Lin Feng Jiao as a guest vocal, is pretty exciting......because she has been avoiding the HK, Chinese media for so many years..... this is a nice first effort by Jaycee, we should see more good things to come from him in the days ahead. |
