After the acclaimed Colour of the Truth, director Wong Jing returns to Hong Kong's triad world in Colour of the Loyalty. While Colour of the Truth was reminiscent of Infernal Affairs, Colour of the Loyalty actually stars Eric Tsang and Shawn Yue from the Infernal Affairs series. Just as successful as Truth in building up dramatic tension, Loyalty, co-directed by Wong Jing and Billy Chung, offers a unique triad story about unfulfilled desires. The film also features Liu Kai Chi, Lam Suet, Emme Wong, Suki Kwan and television star Sammul Chan in his film debut.

Retiring triad leader Dragon (Eric Tsang) is still in control of the gang's money flow. News has been spreading that his triad brothers are hiring people to assassin him. Dragon shrewdly summons a group of hitmen, led by his old comrade (Liu Kai Chi), to protect him in secret. Among the group is a smart young man (Shawn Yue) who discovers more conspiracies behind the downfall of one triad head after another...

I was really disappointed by this movie. The story has been already heard somewhere. There is no peaks in the movie, just a flat told story...

A major dissapointment.
The story was crappy, the acting the crappy, the soundtrack was crappy.
Eric Tsang is a great actor, but he did not give his best in this film, and neither did everyone else. The story was so boring, I wanted to shut it off 20 minutes into the film. HO-MOON ~AH!

Another triad movie blockbuster. I don't know how to describe Wong Jing's movies. He is always the best director & producer among the others.In this movie, the only famous cast is Eric Tsang and Shawn Yue. Although the plot is same as "Jiang Wu", Wong Jing did a good job on it. This movie is intense. Like the other movie "Set To Kill" with the surprise ending. So I strongly recommand this movie to everyone.
