YesAsia Editorial Description

FTIsland celebrates their sixth anniversary with the special mini-album Thanks To. This is the first time the band is releasing an album of all self-composed songs, including the title song Memory which is written and composed by Lee Hong Ki. Jae Jin wrote and composed Falling Star and leader Jong Hoon contributed Try Again.

This edition includes a DVD with a music video and messages from the FTIsland members. First Press comes with a Thank You Card, only available while supplies last. This version comes with a poster shipped separately in a protective tube; album and poster shipments may arrive at different times.

FT아일랜드가 데뷔 6주년 기념 스페셜 미니 앨범 ‘THANKS TO(땡스 투)’를 발표한다.
타이틀 곡은 이홍기가 작사 작곡한 ‘Memory(메모리)’로 FT아일랜드가 국내에서 타이틀곡 포함 전곡 자작곡 음반을 발표하는 것은 이번이 처음이다.
‘Memory(메모리)’와 ‘Always with you(올웨이즈 위드 유)’ 등 이홍기 자작곡 두 곡과 이재진 작사 작곡의 ‘Falling Star(폴링 스타)’, 리더 최종훈 작사 작곡의 ‘Try again(트라이 어게인)’까지 총 4곡이 수록된다.

FTIsland never disappoints me, this is one of the reasons I'm still a Primadonna, more than 6 years later. The fact that the album consists of all self-composed songs that sound amazing, shows they've grown as artists and are not merely pretty faces. My favourite songs from this album are Try Again, Memory, and Always With You.

Also, I must thank YesAsia for bringing autographed albums. I'm more than willing to pay a little more to add another autographed album/dvd to my collection.

I looked forward to this album so much as it is their first album with members only composition. Sure enough, the boys did not disappoint! Memory composed by Hong Ki is the title song with very good musical arrangement (guitar and piano). My favourite is Try Again, composed by Jong Hoon. It's a upbeat rock song, reminiscent of Eye of the Tiger. Falling Star has Jae Jin's signature style and has a very catchy tune. While Memory showcases Hong Ki's powerful vocals, the last song Always With You also written and composed by Hong Ki allows him to showcase his gentle voice. After listening to what the boys came up with, i very much look forward to more of their work in the future!!

Overall I was really impressed with this mini album. All the songs are really great - my favourites would have to be Try Again and Falling Star as they are both very upbeat songs and somewhat inspirational. In terms of the packaging, it is pretty standard (similar to their previous mini albums), except the booklet in this one doesn't have any lyrics (odd?). In any case, as an FT Island fan, I'm glad I managed to getthe autographed version of this to add to my collection. :) Recommended!
