Since his debut in 1990, Fukuyama Masaharu has left a huge mark in Japanese entertainment as a singer-songwriter, actor and radio host. In December 2020, he celebrates the 30th anniversary of his music debut with AKIRA, his first original album release in over six years. Fukuyama gathered a wide variety of songs with the hope that listeners can spend time enjoying entertainment even in the time of COVID. Many theme and CM songs are on the album including NTV drama #Remolove theme song Shinon, TV Asahi drama Black Leather Notebook theme song Seiiki, Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer theme song Rei -Zero-, Shinkaishaku Sangokushi film theme song Kakumei, Koshien, Shiawase no Salad and Hajimari ga Mata Hajimatte yuku. Kurayami no Naka de Tobe and Popstar, which many fans have been waiting to get released, are also on the album.

This edition includes a booklet and a Blu-ray containing Fukuyama Masaharu's All Single Live held on New Year's Eve 2019, music videos and a bonus track of Shonen at the Yaro Yoru!! 6 concert on December 22, 2019.

1990年のデビュー以来、シンガーソングライター、役者、写真家、ラジオパーソナリティとジャンルを超えて幅広い活動を続けてきた福山雅治。音楽デビュー30周年イヤーとなる2020年12月、前作『HUMAN』以来、実に6年8ヶ月振りとなるオリジナルアルバムリリース。

負荷の掛かることが多くなってしまった日常に、時に癒しを、時に興奮を感じていただけるべく制作された今作は、バリエーション豊かな楽曲群で"コロナの時代においても、エンターテインメントを心ゆくまで愉しん頂ける時間を過ごしていただきたい"というシンガーソングライター福山雅治の真髄が遺憾なく発揮された楽曲が並ぶ。

収録楽曲は、「心音」 (日本テレビ系 水曜ドラマ『#リモラブ ～普通の恋は邪道～』主題歌)、「革命」 (映画『新解釈 三國志』主題歌)、「幸せのサラダ」 (キユーピーハーフCMソング)をはじめ、2019年以前に発表された「甲子園」 (NHK高校野球テーマソング)、「零 -ZERO-」 (劇場版『名探偵コナン ゼロの執行人』主題歌)、「聖域」 (テレビ朝日系 木曜ドラマ『黒革の手帖』主題歌)、2018年に開催された全国アリーナツアーやドームライブで披露され、既に多くのファンから音源化を熱望する声が寄せられていた楽曲「暗闇の中で飛べ」「Popstar」や、30周年イヤーの幕開けに発表された、未来に向かって共に進んで行くことを高らかに歌う「始まりがまた始まってゆく」 (ダンロップ ビューロ CMソング)、さらに未発表音源を含む全16曲を予定。

初回限定LIVE映像「ALL SINGLE LIVE」盤には、デビュー30周年イヤー直前の2019年大晦日に開催され、「HELLO」「IT'S ONLY LOVE」「虹」をはじめとする、30周年オールタイムシングルベストとも言えるセットリストで構成された『福山☆冬の大感謝祭 其の十九 ALL SINGLE LIVE』を全曲収録。なお、ボーナストラックとして男性限定ライブ『福山☆冬の大感謝祭 其の十九 野郎夜!! 6』 (2019年12月22日開催)のダブルアンコールで披露された「少年」、さらに特典映像として「心音」「甲子園」「トモエ学園」「聖域」のMusic Videoも収録。ブックレット、三方背ケース付き。
