Aired over two six-episode seasons in 2021, Result Entertainment's WBL We Best Love has taken Taiwan BL dramas to a new level of international popularity. Actor-singer Sam Lin (Between) and breakout newcomer YU Yang Yu Teng deliver memorable performances with their heart-fluttering chemistry (and legendary kiss scenes) in the stirring romance drama, which carries from the campus to the workplace. Also co-starring Ray Chang (Eternal Summer), Shih Chih Tian (More Than Blue), and newcomers Evan Luo and Richard Lee, WBL is directed by Ray Jiang (Gatao: The Last Stray) and written by Lin Pei Yu, who wrote the HIStory2 and HIStory3 series.

Titled No. 1 For You, the first season of WBL is a lighthearted yet poignant college romance about unrequited crushes and the start of love. Since a young age, Zhou Shu Yi (Yang Yu Teng) has constantly been relegated to second place because of one person – Gao Shi De (Sam Lin). To the proud and competitive Shu Yi, Gao Shi De is basically the bane of his existence! Shu Yi plans to confess his feelings to longtime friend Jiang Yu Xin (Belle Hsin) after winning a swimming competition, but then Shi De suddenly shows up and Shu Yi finds himself on the losing side yet again. Shu Yi is heartbroken when he learns that Yu Xin is dating their friend Fang Zheng Wen (Zack Fanchiang), but keeps it a secret. However, Shi De records a video of Shu Yi crying and blackmails him into becoming his lackey. This is a nightmare for Shu Yi, but what he doesn't know is that Shi De has actually liked him for years. Shi De worked hard to be No. 1 at everything just to catch Shu Yi's attention...

Fighting Mr. 2nd, the second season of WBL, jumps five years later to the workplace when Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi meet again after years of separation and misunderstandings. Shi De wants to start over, but will Shu Yi give him another chance?

This edition comes with six photo cards, a paper photo frame and 26 minutes of previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage.

BEAUTIFUL BOX SET!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

This is one of the most beautifully made box sets I've seen! The little picture frame with photo cards is so sweet and it just had over all a beautiful presentation. REMINDER this is a REGION 3 dvd so check that your DVD player is compatible or get a Region-Free DVD player! I had to buy one to play this, but over all, one of my fave series; super reasonable price for the 2 seasons and 3 dvds. One of the dvds says there isn't English subs when I translated the dvd but, I will have to wait till my DVD player comes in first (ha).
