Based on a true story, Miracle: Letters to the President is about a young man's great goal to establish a train station in his remote rural town in eastern South Korea. Directed by Lee Jang Hoon (Be With You), the film goes back to the 1980s for a nostalgic and heartwarming train ride filled with humorous and inspiring moments. Park Jung Min (Deliver Us From Evil) takes the leading role in Miracle: Letters to the President alongside Lee Sung Min (Remember), Lim YoonA (Confidential Assignment) and Lee Soo Kyung (Law School).

The only way to come and go is by train, but there is no train station in Joon Kyeong's (Park Jung Min) hometown, though the railroad passes through. Determined to get a train station in his village, Joon Kyeong writes letter after letter to the President. Despite the objections of his father (Lee Sung Min), Joon Kyeong takes on a five-hour school commute in order to stay in his hometown and persist in his efforts. From taking classes to write better letters to joining the President's Cup math competition, he does everything he can to make his voice heard and make the train station reality. There's no giving up until the day the train stops in his town!

줄거리

오갈 수 있는 길은 기찻길밖에 없지만
정작 기차역은 없는 마을.
