　　十年後，兩個孩子有著截然相反的生活境遇，阿誠從小便忍受飢貧和侮辱，大寶豐衣足食嬌慣任性。為改變兒子命運，身患絕症不久人世的榮華與程雪做出交易，讓阿誠進入天方茶莊，開始了飽受磨難的學徒生涯……

　　二十年後，少年一代長大成人。程大寶暗弱荒唐難擔。阿誠與邵慶玲相互愛慕，但由於對天方和責任及大寶的糾纏，這段愛情飽受煎熬。江海生種用無知大寶走私毒品，卻不料事發大寶入獄。為救兒子陳雪無奈將隱藏二十年的身世之秘告訴海生，震驚這余傾力迎救，條件是大寶必須入祖歸宗，大寶無法接受自己是“野種”之名。對阿誠誤會太深的大寶將阿誠趕出天方，阿誠終於可發安心與愛人成就幸福，天方茶莊卻因大寶面臨滅頂之災。程雪獨力難支，欲舉火與祖業玉石俱焚，而對愛情與道義的抉擇，阿誠將何去何從？上輩悲劇，是否再度輪回？……
