Two spiritually lost souls find themselves – and each other – in A Moment of Love, the latest film from In Case of Love director Gavin Lin. Vic Chou (Saving General Yang) and Cecilia Liu (Scarlet Heart) co-star as Joe and Yaqing, two travelers who go to Yunnan. After meeting in a small town, the two decide to join forces to find the first love of a dying old man for Yaqing's magazine article. Along the way, they begin to find new meaning in their monotonous lives and even develop feelings for each other, even though Yaqing is already engaged to Zhiyuan. Will Yaqing decide to return to her humdrum relationship and a safe life with a fiancée she isn't in love with, or take a chance on a new relationship with Joe?

　　畫家許念祖（周渝民飾）因爺爺的去世讓他感受到沒有陪伴在爺爺身邊的遺憾，決心去完成他的遺願，踏上了前往爺爺家鄉雲南普洱的旅途。

　　紀雅清（劉詩詩飾）是旅遊雜誌編輯，每天在都市叢林中疲於奔命，和未婚夫志遠的感情也越來越索然無味。婚禮前夕，雅清替好友去雲南普洱完成專題。在那裡意外發現一個即將離世的臺灣老人對初戀的思念，於是她決定改變選題，去追尋老人的初戀。

　　雅清和念祖在普洱的不期而遇，兩人一起尋找爺爺的初戀情人，在共同見證這段跨越時間空間的不渝愛戀之後，也互相對彼此產生了情愫。雅清開始對她現有的愛情和即將邁入的婚姻感到質疑，而這兩人是否有勇氣面對自己的感情……
