YesAsia.com and Sony Music International Enter into U.S. Distribution and Marketing Alliance
(San Francisco; November 30, 2001) Sony Music International and YesAsia.com, the leading online Asian entertainment store, today announced the commencement of their distribution and marketing alliance to market Sony Music Asian music releases to consumers and retail stores throughout the United States, leveraging YesAsia.com's proven online and offline marketing expertise and well-established sales channels to aggressively promote and distribute Sony Music releases.
The companies are already working together to further increase awareness for and the popularity of Sony Music's Asian artists through a series of innovative online and offline marketing campaigns, and have recently launched successful promotions for such major artists as CoCo Lee (Taiwan), Leon Lai (Hong Kong), and Chemistry (Japan).
