Written by Ueda, the clever film with a twist draws on Aesop's famous The Tortoise and the Hare fable to unfurl an unpredictable battle royale of deception, betrayal, revenge and secrets. Like with One Cut of the Dead, it's best to go into Aesop's Game knowing as little as possible!
Kameda Miwa (Ishikawa Ruka) is a shy college student whose only friend is her pet turtle. Her popular and outgoing classmate Tokusa Saori (Igeta Hiroe) is famous for being part of a super happy reality TV show family. Inui Koyuzu (Guama) runs an agency with her father to provide certain services to clients. The fates of these three women are set to cross over in crazy and unexpected ways!
