Every student dreams of following his or her life's calling, but how many can actually fulfill their dreams? Xu Yifen (Summer Meng, Sweet Sweet Bodyguard) wants to be an app developer. A junior in college, she's already decided that that is what she wants to do with her life. Her friends likewise have dream jobs of their own: Mao Mao (Guo Shu Yao, Princess' Stand-In) wants to be a flight attendant, Tian Mingxian (Lyan Cheng, Fabulous Boys) wants to be a poet and Hao Mei (Huang Wei Ting) wants to be an economist. Fast-forward to the start of their working lives, and things haven't worked out exactly to plan. Mao Mao is stuck in a stressful insurance sales job, Mingxian is a taxi driver and Mei is a teaching assistant. Yifen is still chasing after her dream of becoming an app developer, but in the meantime, she has to juggle two menial jobs to make ends meet.

By chance, Yifen once again meets Yi Qifeng (Chris Wang, The Fierce Wife), the person who inspired her to become an app developer, while delivering drinks for one of her jobs. Hoping to help her develop her talent, Qifeng refers her to his friend Ren Daoyuan (Lego Lee, In A Good Way), who works in the same company and happens to be Mao Mao's ex-boyfriend...

Today’s youth now face a harsh reality where pay is low and unemployment is high; how do they get out of this rat race and survive this battle of the fittest? Yi-Fen Hsu, Mao-Tang Yen (Mao-Mao), Mei Hao, and Ming-Hsiang Tien (Mi-Hsiang), four female college students majoring in Economics, though becoming cool adults would be as easy and effortless as their strong friendship. They didn’t expect a quarrel before graduation would ever make them to give up ion their dreams, but it did; now they’ve parted ways and lived separate lives.

As these four girls pursue success, love comes knocking on their doors. Yi-Fen has always had a crush on Chi-Feng Yu, but James secretly cares for Yi-Fen, more than he’s willing to admit. Proud and sensitive Mao-Mao crosses path with her first love, Dao-Yuan Ren.
