YesAsia Editorial Description

It's been a long wait, but Choi Ji Woo finally returns to Korean television with the highly anticipated MBC drama Air City. With the Incheon International Airport as backdrop, the drama follows the work and romance of four airport personnel. Choi Ji Woo stars as Han Do Kyung, a level-headed operations chief who remains cool and calm under all circumstances - until she falls for rash government agent Kim Ji Sung played by movie star Lee Jung Jae (Typhoon), in his first drama role in nine years. Adding to her confusion are her evolving friendships with longtime friend Ha Joon (Lee Jin Wook, Someday) and airport director Myung Woo (Moon Jung Hee, Alone in Love), who happens to be Ji Sung's ex-girlfriend. Boosting the drama's draw even further is screenwriter Choi Wan Kyu, the man behind Jumong, Hur Jun, and countless other popular dramas.

With such a grand cast and high-octane set-up, Air City boasts an equally crowd-pleasing line-up in its soundtrack. Dong Bang Shin Ki performs the drama's main theme "One Day Month" (Track 1), an atmospheric mid-tempo R&B number. Micky Yoo Chun takes on lead vocals for the group's other contribution, the soulful All in Vain (Track 2), which features an English refrain and second verse. Written, composed, and arranged by OST music director Ahn Ji Hong, the track is a fusion of acid jazz and hip hop, and quite different from TVXQ's previous songs. Kang Ta shows off some language skills as well with lounge number Perguntas (Question) (Track 3), which has Portuguese lyrics. Also on the track list are Hyun Jin's Calling (Track 5) and Cheon Sang Ji Hee The Grace's ballad "Just For One Day" (Track 6), featuring Super Junior's Kyu Hyun.

Recommended. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The best tracks in this OST are, in fact, those performed by TVXQ, CSJH The Grace and KangTa.
The 1st track shows the smooth voices of TVXQ members.
And my favourite is the 2nd track 'All in Vain'. Also by TVXQ. This song gives off the feeling of K-Pop in 90s, and is quite different from TVXQ's previous repertoire. And I have to praise YooChun's singing in this track, because it absolutely nails the song.
And I love KangTa's voice in the 4th track!
The 6th track shows the powerful vocals of KyuHyun and CSJH, and is very pleasant to listen to.

This above is my personal opinion, and I recommend this OST not only to TVXQ fans, but everyone who loves music, because these songs are easy to listen to.

Give it a try! :)

Micky & Kan Ta! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm giving a 10 stars for this CD just because of Micky's performance in track 2, All in Vain. Just listen to him made me so happy that I've become his fan. He has more than delivered in this track because he understands what's required of him. He sounds wonderful and he is a musician for sure. His voice is just wonderful for this track. The track is not perfect because of the little sloppiness of TVXQ's chorus part at around a third of the track, But even so, they still sound okay. And Kang Ta has never sound more masculine and sexier than before and I just love his voice in Perguntas. I also think that Kyu Hyun of Super Junior did an excellent job in Just for One Day. He has excellent voice and he sings well. I like the cello part in the classic version of Track 1, the main theme of Air City. I like the style of this OST composer. Overall, I think he has done an excellent job on composing, but perhaps should pay a little more attention to group singing. I am sorry to say that the OST is better than the drama series because Choi Ji Woo and Lee Jung Jae belong to my list of favorite actresses and actors. Their actings were sub par due to the not so well written storyline and directing. But get this OST any way!

wasn't a huge disapointmet Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I'm a HUGE fan of TVXQ, and they sang two songs on this soundtrack, such as the main theme. I though that "Harudal" could have maybe been performed a little better, but i thought that "All In Vain" was an excellent song, bringing out Micky Yoochun, and i think he did an excellent job performing that song.

Doesn't live upto expectation Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
OST is not as good as I thought it would be. The best singers in the OST was in fact Chun Sang Ji Hee - The Grace. Kang Ta sang very well in Spanish, but TVXQ doesn't live up to it's billing name. For some reason, they sang the title track in such a dull and uninspired manner that it actually detract from the drama. Super Junior's top singers can sing better than TVXQ now.
