The battle for Anime Supremacy begins! Based on the popular novel by Naoki Prize-winning author Tsujimura Mizuki, Anime Supremacy jumps into the hot-blooded world of the anime industry. Yoshioka Riho (Parallel World Love Story) and Nakamura Tomoya (Gone Wednesday) play anime directors, one making a debut and the other making a comeback, who are pitted against each other. Directed by Yoshino Kohei (Gone Wednesday), Anime Supremacy also co-stars Tasuku Emoto (Dynamite Graffiti) and Ono Machiko (Solomon's Perjury) as producers.

Saito Hitomi (Yoshioka Riho) is about to fulfill her dream and make her directorial debut with the anime Soundback Kanade no Ishi. However, tension is high and dark clouds are on the horizon. For producer Yukishiro Osamu (Emoto Tasuku), business is the top priority and this is a source of great stress for Hitomi who wants to make the best anime. Soundback Kanade no Ishi is competing against Unmei Sensen Liddell-light, the comeback work of genius director Oji Chiharu (Nakamura Tomoya) whom Hitomi also admires. Producer Arishina Kayako (Ono Machiko) is betting everything on Oji's comeback but she struggles to reel him in. Meanwhile, the staff and voice actors are also difficult to deal with. Who will be the winner of this anime showdown?
