이번 앨범은 “RIDE WEST”라는 앨범 타이틀이 말해주듯 해외 뮤지션이 대거 참여하였다.
우선 웨스트 코스트 힙합의 전설인 2pac의 래핑 참여와 전세계적으로 최고의 인기를 누리고 있는 제니퍼 로페즈와의 공동 작업이 그것이라 할 수 있다. 현재 아시아 전역에서 활발하게 활동하고 있는 베이비복스는 이번 앨범에 타이틀곡 xcstasy (2pac )와 play (제니퍼 로페즈)의 영어 버전과 한국어 버전을 동시 수록하는 등 미국 힙합의 메카인 벙가로 뮤직을 통해 미국 시장 진출을 겨냥하고 있다.
에미넴 , 50cent, 백스트리트 보이스, Mary J Blige 등 수많은 아티스트를 최고의 자리에 올려 놓은 프로듀서인 ‘닥터 드레’ 팀의 최고 작곡가 Floss. P 와의 앨범 작업은 베이비복스의 음악적 내실까지 충실히 다져 또 다른 레벨의 또 다른 힙합으로 태어나게 했으며, 한국인으로써는 유일하게 참여한 ONEGOD 는 한국적 멜로디와 가사 작업에 완성도를 높였다.

Woah Xcstasy / Play are the first two songs I ever herd from Baby Vox and DANG ITS GOOD! I was so shocked that they used to be all POP kind and personally they sound so much better in HIP HOP DANG! Yes the rap at many times is very annoying and pointless but the song is ssssooo good both of them I love them..I'm so happy they made this cd YAY! you should definitly buy this album UGH! it's so good WOOT!

I personally love this album. I'll agree with others that the rappers add nothing to any of the songs but I'm really feeling Baby V's new hip-hop flavor. I played the english versions of Play & Xcstacy at a party I had and everyone dot down. Besides, Artist have to e xperiment with different styles and evolve, or else they get boring. i.e Madonna, Cher. Xcstasy is high on my list of Baby V favorites (But because of the video when I listen to it in my car it tends to make me race people ^-^) and I commend them n their new style and hope they continue to reap success.

allright i think babyvox is great till now--they have to stay away from the hip hop and rappers- that is not the right direction to go, their #2 album was better then this one, i sure hope that #8 is better.
that 2pac cd is that a joke or what--stay away from the rap!!!!!!!

i absolutely loved it. i cant stop listening to First and Last, and also Father and I. Baby VOX has done it again and made another great album. i definetly advise you buy this album if you are a huge fan, or even just a begginer. you'll love it

the album was alright but i was quite dissapointed though. they coulda done soo much better n they definitly shoulda stuck with kpop kuz the whole english hiphop style just isnt them. and they shouldnt have done so many remixes and different versions of their past songs that we've all heard so many times. they should start putting things together and show the world how great they really are by making good music. this album is ok but i hope they make an 8th album that will really make up for this one...
