Every letter I sent you.
This album reflects memories, dilemmas, and thought processes I had from when I was nineteen to twenty three. With no specific address, I’ve been mailing my feelings in form of songs. And I’m really glad that I can finally mail them to you all. This album is my way of thanking everyone who has been loving me and supporting my journey as a musician.
Lots of love

Baek Yerin's smooth and soulful voice plus her distinctive style of music have shaped her as one of the most successful female singers of her generation. From "Across the Universe" to Bye bye my blue to "Maybe It's Not Our Fault," we just can't get enough of her light yet emotional tone and her dreamy melodies. This winter, she came back with her first full-length album Every letter I sent you., which has 17 self-written English songs and a Korean song.
When reading through the tracklist, perhaps many of us were surprised that the singer finally put in her well-received Square (2017), which she used to only perform at music festivals. Square has unexpectedly charted higher than title track Popo (How deep is our love?) and even brought Yerin her first "all kill" on Korean digital music charts. Laid-back and lighthearted, Square strikes you with the high spirits of her powerful singing that shows her wide vocal range. However, as much as I like this song, it sounds more compelling live than in its studio version.
Jazzy and groovy R&B title track Popo (How deep is our love?) (Track 3) delivers a sweet and warm confession accompanied by rich-sounding instrumentals. Her voice and the melody of the whole composition are beautiful, but the highlight definitely has to be the almost two-minute instrumental outro.
Starting off with a relaxing Intro (Track 1), the first disc contains nine soft and sentimental songs, like the free-spirited Rest (Track 2), the acoustic can i b u, the melancholic Meant to be (Track 5), the mysterious Mr.gloomy (Track 6), lovelovelove (Track 7) about how important love is to her, and 0310 (Track 9) which reminisces about a past relationship.
Every letter I sent you. continues to stir up emotions in the second disc, which includes the piano-accompanied Berlin (Track 1), the Korean song Datoom (Track 2) about holding onto each other, Not a girl (Track 3) about coolly quitting a relationship, the rhythmical True lover, the dreamy Point featuring rapper Loopy, and London (Track 9) about moving on from a toxic relationship.
Every letter I sent you. hits you in the feels with its soothing yet emotionally charged tune and lyrics along with Baek Yerin's dulcet voice. Every single piece in this album not only carries her story and memories, but also her talent, effort and artistry. It's the best go-to album when you want to find some peace of mind.
