Jason Pai Ying stars in the 1969 Taiwan wuxia film Black Invitation directed by Chou Hsu Chiang. Living large in the Fuhu Shan region, Qiu San (Ma Ji) and his ruthless gang extort money from the local people by sending out black invitations listing how much the gang would like to "borrow". Those who hand over the money even a little late experience the gang's violent wrath. The Wan family is thrown into danger when they refuse to lend the exorbitant amount demanded by the gang. 黑道梟雄仇三(馬驥)，率群眾盤踞伏虎山，每以黑帖傳送民間借銀糧。稍有延遲，則豪奪恣殺，極為霸道。

萬家莊獲仇三黑帖一方，所列甚鉅，莊民惶然無措。長它九叔公(葛香亭)號召鄉民合力護莊，而少莊主順官(余繼孔)娭嫉惡如仇，力排養盜之計。適時莊立老撲繡花枕(白鷹)久遊歸來，亦振疾呼起而抗暴，然而鄉民仍暗聚銀精以待，想免除殺劫。因繡花枕自無行，為莊民所不屑，獨獲莊主千金梅香(韓湘琴)青睞，曾手織「莫為繡花枕，須做人上人」錦巾贈之。繡自知不容於鄉里，乃約梅香同走他方，事敗，繡飽受皮簻(註：馬鞭)之災。

莊主自忖難逃大劫，遣繡護順官入城暫逃避。繡等行至江濱，遇巨賈趙大戶(崔福生)所僱蓬舟，得以搭乖。趙亦曾獲仇三黑帖，攜家私寵妾以圖遠避，詎佑錯上賊船，趙遇害，財妾被擄，頭目鐵羅漢(薛漢)誤墜繡之舌計，將順官釋之，押繡歸寨，百順官獲釋返莊，深知大患不除，終無寧日，乃與九叔公密議張榜召賢，衛鄉抗匪。

仇因覬覦梅香美色，派頭目至萬家莊劫持，事為九叔公所阻，率莊民與頭目對搏。頭目當場授命，九叔公亦被刺死，一時莊民淚憤，同仇敵愾，誓滅強梁……
