History repeats itself Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
How depressing it is when a movie can capture & portray the infinite political unrest society of man is plagued with. Due to this concept, the conflicts of each character, whether it is internal or external, feel far weightier than expected of a kung-fu movie. The action sequences are speeded up but still impressive to watch. Memorable scenes include the competition that takes place on the giant drum & the mostly satisfying final face off between characters. Not to mention the inner turmoil of one character exquisitely executed in the form of a drunken striaght sword form.
