Yamaguchi Tsubasa's award-winning manga Blue Period is adapted into a live-action film directed by Hagiwara Kentaro (Our 30 Minute Sessions). Maeda Gordon stars as Yaguchi Yatora, the young protagonist who experiences his artistic awakening. The high school student initially struggles with an art assignment, but eventually feels inspired to paint a blue painting of Shibuya at dawn. Able to express himself for the first time, Yatora decides to pursue art in university, but many challenges await him. Blue Period gathers a shining ensemble of popular actors, including Takahashi Fumiya, Itagaki Rihito, Sakurada Hiyori and Sena Nakajima, to paint the artistic yearnings and coming-of-age etudes of young burgeoning artists.

This edition includes Blue Period on Blu-ray and DVD. It comes with a four double-sided art card, a 24-page photo booklet and a bonus DVD of special features including visual commentary, making-of, event footage and promotional videos.
