 Some good stuff Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm still on my first listen but this album is hella good so far. You don't know how surprised I was when the music started playing. This is nothing like the CD-rips and radio versions of this album. This is some legit good stuff. I was quite disappointed by her last 3(?) singles, not going to lie (except dreaming now). But this album just blew me away, haven't finished the album yet. So if anybody else is disappointed at her latest singles (like me). Bon Voyage gives off a completely different vibe and atmosphere than her older albums. This is a must buy, I agree with the comment before, it's worth the 50 bucks or w/e. She's so talented, no matter what song she sings, it'll still sound good. I will make some changes after a few more listens. The album art is quite good, but the music is worth the buy. By the looks of this, I think i'll like it more than Dejavu and maybe Japonesque.. Also, I never really like songs on the first listen, but I love this.

 Say "Bon Voyage" to the sound you know.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Koda Kumi's first studio album in 2 years is an experimental sound. I'm not saying that because it sounds different. She said it was a "new sound that she was excited to do and one she felt she could express herself." I'm only going to review the new songs (I've reviewed the singles).

The introduction has the sounds of ships in the background, then leads into a catchy beat that sounds like it was inspired from HEAT (2004). SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA is a blend of electronica and pop and, despite the title making no sense, the song is catchy and will be stuck in your head. LOADED feat. Sean Paul is hip-hop and Sean adds it and doesn't take away from it. This song sounds perfect for a sunset beach party.

Winner Girls is upbeat and sounds better with the full version. The only issue I have is "Winner - winner girls" being said throughout almost the entire song. Imagine is the first ballad on the album and, much like Koishikute, it opens up after the first minute. So if you're turned off by it, I urge you to keep listening. Koishikute and LALALALALA follow, then Let's show tonight. This song is very jazz-oriented and I love it. The only downside is that it's so short! It's the length of the interlude, which is one of the best interludes she's done in a while.

TOUCHDOWN goes into Crank Tha Bass feat. OVDS and, I'll be honest: I'm having a hard time really liking this song. It has a really sick beat and it'd be a great street racing song, but to just listening to? Not so much. But I really do like it because this will be a great song for the full adrenaline rush when racing. Then is my personal favorite track: LOL. This song is dark, catchy and sick. Perfect clubbing song. The chorus is addicting, the beat is insane and Kuu's vocals? UNG. Go to the top leads to Dreaming Now!, which gets to the third ballad on the album: On Your Side. This song has a great backtrack and is an upbeat pop ballad. I really do adore this song because it's beautiful and the message is so positive.

Then is my second favorite track: U KNOW. This is just an upbeat and fun song! Think about going into Tokyo or Osaka at night with friends and just having fun! I really do adore this song, even though it's a complete 180 from LOL.

Overall, this is a good Kuu album. Long-time fans (like myself) will probably be wary, but grow to enjoy it. The only downside to the album is that there are no standout ballads, which she always has at least one on every album (UNIVERSE had 3).
