Broad Sky was meant to be Beyond's fourth Mandarin record, but the originally planned album was never realized because of Wong Ka Kui's untimely passing in June 1993. Released in September 1993, Broad Sky features two Mandarin songs – Ai Bu Rong Yi Shuo and Shen Bu You Ji – and songs from the legendary band's Cantonese album Rock n Roll and Japanese album This Is Love 1. Among the songs on the album is seminal classic "Broad Sky" plus its Japanese version.
