Shiraishi Kazuya (The Blood of Wolves) directs his first period samurai drama Bushido based on a well-known rakugo tale. Kusanagi Tsuyoshi stars as a ronin samurai with a score to settle in the stately film. Kiyohara Kiyo, Saitoh Takumi, Nakagawa Taishi, Kunimura Jun and Koizumi Kyoko co-star in Bushido.

Kakunoshin Yanagida (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi) was forced leave his clan and hometown after being falsely accused of a crime. He now ekes out a living with his daughter Kinu (Kiyohara Kiyo) in the slums of Edo. However, Kakunoshin's samurai pride and integrity are still evident in how he plays the game of Go. One day, an old acquaintance informs Kakunoshin of the truth behind the false accusation that brought tragedy upon their family, and he sets out to take revenge.

●ストーリー
