Cha Seung Won (Believer) and child actress Um Chae Young (Wonderful Nightmare) play father and daughter in the funny and touching family story Cheer Up, Mr. Lee. Helmed and co-written by Luck-Key director Lee Gae Byok, the comedy-drama also co-stars Park Hae Joon (Jo Pil-Ho: The Dawning Rage) and Jeon Hye Bin (Luck-Key) as the younger brother and sister-in-law of the protagonist, while veteran actress Kim Hye Ok (A Man and a Woman) is the young girl's grandmother.

Despite his perfect physical appearances, Chul Soo (Cha Seung Won) is a bit slow mentally. One day at the hospital, he meets mature little girl Saet Byul (Um Chae Young), and gets told out of the blue that she is his daughter. Chul Soo ends up on a bittersweet journey with Saet Byul who has leukemia.
