導演:張徹
Director: Chang Cheh
“Godfather of the kung-fu film”. Chang Cheh follows his international hit, The 5 Venomous with a beloved sequel. Joining the “Venoms” is Chen Kuan-tai as a martial arts master so addled by an attack on his family that he proceeds to blind, deafen, render retarded, and chop off the feet of anyone who even mildly annoys him. The abused bystanders brilliantly train to take their revenge, resulting in a totally unbelievable, but totally awesome super heroic, delight.

Mindless fun for action fans Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
"Crippled Avengers" features plenty of action and a rudimentary story of vengeance. A group of bad guys murder the wife and maim the son of Black Tiger Dao (Chen Kuan Tai). The horror turns Dao into a ruthlessly evil tyrant, slaughtering anyone who gets in his way. Four heroes who refuse to bend to his will suffer violent fates; one loses his legs, another loses his ability to hear and speak, a third is blinded, and a fourth is turned into an idiot by having his skull crushed in a vice.

The four crippled heroes then are trained in new martial arts skills that turn them into fearsome warriors as long as they rely on each other. Inevitably, they are bound for a great showdown with Dao. While the exposition of story in this tale are never more than basic, the scenes of training and combat are creative, acrobatic, and exciting.

If you seek lots of action and don't mind the absence of much storytelling, then "Crippled Avengers" may be right up your alley.

AN AMAZING DISPLAY OF TRUE VENOM TALENT Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
In all honesty, where is a good place to start when speaking of this film? In, 1978 the Venoms began a series of incredible performances together and this is the third installment of a true Venoms film. This film is without question one of their best films due to amazing choreography and really good acting.Of course to me Chiang Sheng is the one who really stands out the most. His fight with Wang Lung Wei is a great glimpse into Chiang's expert swordplay for the first time. The turning point is really when Chiang has a chance to fight after he is tortured.Chiang and Kuo against Lu Feng is a really nice display of their acrobatic talents. Also Sun Chien really gets to show how incredible his kicking ability was.

"The Poison Clan Does It Again!" Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Originally released as "Avengers Handicapped", this is yet another sorrowful epic from the master of maiming Chang Cheh, who previously created the million-dollar blockbuster "The One-Armed Swordsman" and its sequels, only this time, its not only an arm that becomes severed, but both of them, along with legs, eyes, ears, speech & the power of thought! (And Jimmy Wang Yu thought he had it bad!) The resulting film is an incredibly enjoyable action-adventure that will entertain and astound worldwide fans of the "Five Venoms" and Chang Cheh films from this period of his career. Also See: "The Brave Archer" Parts 1 thru 4, "Heaven And Hell", "The Sword Stained With Royal Blood", "Invincible Shaolin", and "Two Champions Of Shaolin" for more brilliant choreography in this genre!
