Dead Men Do Tell Tales I Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Being a CSI fan ,I feel I must praise this series.Had a preconcept that it would be like a lot of costume dramas that are full of colourful, vivid representations of a bygone age, dramas that can be ascribed to any dynastic era,as long as the costumes are changed. But this story, in my opinion, amid it's sombre simplicity is definitely Song, not just that ,southern Song. Perhaps, it's the theme music and the song at the end of each episode, invoking an other -worlldliness throughout the film. However, the treachery and crimes men are capable of are universal. We love to watch detectives catch murderers, that 's why some of us love Monsieur Poirot, Miss Marple...but these are imaginary characters, Song Ci is real. Hope more of his cases wil lbe made into tv series, would watch it daily for entertainment and intellectual stimulation. There is a sense of crisis, threading through the whole unfolding events, i.e. however good Song Ci is, the end is sadly drawing near, the impending demise of southern Song. Song Dynasty_ so outstanding, so exqusite, so inmeasurable, so refined, so regrettable, so heartbreaking, so lamentable... it's poems, porcelains, precious books_ the skills,awww. This series is classics! psychological and ethical. Good stories give one plenty of associations.

Finally, a series worth giving positive feedback on!
If you like Law & Order or CSI, you will like "Da Song Ti Xing Guan." The main actor is amazing in his role as the detective, forensic specialist, and judge. The unsolved cases in this series is intriguing and the storyling interesting. Highly recommended.

Great Cast, Well-made Series Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is an excellent series. At first the cast didn't appeal to me much, but it's actually one of the many strong points of this serial. Props especially to He Bing, who gave a such a genuine and unforgettable portrayal of the main man Song Ci. This basis of this show is reminiscent of an ancient C.S.I. and was perhaps one of (if not the first) known in recorded history. The cases are really interesting and provide viewers with some profound and realistic glimpses into human relationships and psychology. Forensics, mystery, and/or Young Justice Bao fans shouldn't miss this gem.
