In 2008, Kwon Hyung Jin directed the film Truck which follows a desperate man who realizes that his passenger is a serial killer. In his 2015 suspense thriller Deep Trap, a couple realizes they may be trapped on a remote island with a killer. Still dealing with the grief of a miscarriage, married couple Joon Sik (Jo Han Sun, A Better Tomorrow) and So Yeon (Kim Min Kyung) decide to take a trip together. Based only on information from social media, they end up at a villa owned by the mysterious Sung Cheol (Ma Dong Seok, Veteran) and Min Hee (Ji An). An accident happens and suddenly the vacation turns into an all-out fight for survival.

Product Information

Married for five years, Jun-Sik and So-Yeon hav e stayed childless after their miscarriage. One day, So-Yeon ask Jun-Sik to go on a mind-healing trip to a remote island. They settle on a shabby restaurant where So-Yeon has read good reviews online. The seemingly nice owner, Sung-Chul, warmly welcomes them with food and drinks, but somehow Jun-Sik and So-Yeon gets bad vibe. Because of car malfunction, they stay longer and witness Sung-Chul murdering a couple that just arrived in the island. Jun-Sik and So-Yeon try to escape but get stuck in an irrevocable quagmire. Will they be able to get away from the murderous restaurant and its owner?
