A delinquent high school girl finds her goal in life and becomes a passionate doctor in SBS drama Doctors written by Ha Myung Hee (High Society) and directed by Oh Choong Hwan (You Who Came from the Stars). The romantic medical drama stars Park Shin Hye (Pinocchio), Kim Rae Won (Punch), Yoon Kyun Sang (Six Flying Dragons) and Lee Sung Kyung (Cheese in the Trap). It also features cameo appearances by Nam Gung Min, Lee Ki Woo and Lee Sang Yeob.
Yoo Hye Jung (Park Shin Hye) is a rebellious student who lacks confidence in people due to her tough childhood. Inspired by her high school teacher Hong Ji Hong (Kim Rae Won), she becomes a successful neurosurgeon. Meanwhile, Ji Hong, who gave up on becoming a doctor due to a surgical error, regains his confidence after meeting Hye Jung and becomes a neurological professor. After thirteen years of separation, Hye Jung and Ji Hong re-encounter in the hospital and form a medical team with fellow doctors Jin Seo Woo (Lee Sung Kyung) and Jung Yoon Do (Yoon Kyun Sang).

English subs sometimes a bit strange
English subs sometimes a bit strange

I really like the drama but I have to reduce the rating for this box a bit in order to differentiate it from the ones with near perfect subtitles. Don't ge me wrong, the subs are perfectly understandable and far above some Chinese releases, however, I've seen better in other Korean director's cut editions. Still, it's a pleasure to watch this drama again.
As expected, the extras are not subtitled but there're plenty of them to be found. |
