Pop princess Suzuki Ami joins up with some of the most talented names in the music industry for her sixth album Dolce. A fusion of club and pop, Ami's new album comes with 12 collaboration tracks that allow the singer to jam with house and electronic masters like sugiurumn, RAM RIDER, Captain Funk, and Nakata Yasutaka of capsule, as well as bubbly singer-actress Shinohara Tomoe and duo Hoff Dylan. Ami's 2007 singles - double A-side Free Free/Supermusic Maker with Nakata Yasutaka and XX - Makyo Densetsu theme Potential Breakup Song with Aly & AJ - are all collected on this album. There are also brand new jiving tracks like Stereo Love with Shinohara Tomoe, Ainouta with ROCKETMAN, and Bitter... with Studio Apartment.

This edition comes with a DVD containing the Bitter music video and behind-the-scenes footage.

First of all, I love Ami Suzuki. She's been in music instrudy for a long time. She started first at sony and was main rival of Ayumi Hamasaki. in 2000 sony blacklisted Ami because legal problems. She released 2 indie singles in 2004. On January 1st, 2005, Max Matsuura discovered her and she signed for Avex Trax.
Now into the review. Cover has too much pink, but it's still nice cover. Album's booklet is quite dull. It only includes 2 shots of Ami with different camera positions. Maybe I should've ordered the photobook version... The music is great electro/pop. Album starts off with amazing FREE FREE produced by Nakata Yasukata. It's really heavy electro-pop. Ami's vocals have been synthesized heavily, but it makes song even better. This is one of the best songs in the album (and in her career) the higlights of the album are cover of RAM RIDER's MUSIC, FREE FREE, Aly & Aj cover of Potential Break Up Song and THE weekeND. Songs are very good or good (excluded feel the beat which was bad)
Overall album is MUCH better than her dissapointing CONNETTA but a little weaker than AROUND THE WORLD. Dolce has much electro/pop(FREE FREE, SUPER MUSIC MAKER, MUSIC) but includes also basic pop songs (2人はPOP , 新しい日々 , アイノウタ) btw, Dolce means delicious in Italian and Dolce deserves it's title, because it is really a delicious album with electro flavor. I recomend Dolce for everyone!
