In 2007, the workers at Cort Guitars' Korean factory in Incheon were all laid off when the plant was shut down in the wake of attempts for unionization. Screened at the 2010 Busan Film Festival, Kim Sung Kyu's indie documentary Dream Factory follows the fired workers' protest movement which saw them spreading their message through street performances and traveling around the world to seek the support of musicians who play the guitars they helped make.
