Directed by Shin Dong Yeob (Untouchable Lawmen), Duel: The Final Round focuses on the issue of "play kill," the social phenomenon of an online argument developing into a real fight. Lee Joo Seung (Socialphobia) stars as a jobless youngster who takes revenge on Oh Ji Ho's (Island) murder suspect for the death of his detective brother played by Lee Jung Jin (Troubleshooter). The action comedy also co-stars Shin Jung Geun (Enemies In-Law) as a kung fu master and Son Eun Seo (Tumbleweed).

Unemployed teenager Poong Ho (Lee Joo Seung) runs a "play kill" forum and makes a living as an amateur fighter. While investigating a murder case, his detective brother Kang Ho (Lee Jung Jin) comes across suspect Han Jae Hee (Oh Ji Ho), who is the CEO of a game company. Beaten up badly by Jae Hee, Kang Ho falls into a coma. Determined to avenge his brother, Poong Ho learns martial arts from kung fu master Mr. Hwang (Shin Jung Geun).
