故事簡介
清朝康熙末年，眾太子欲爭奪儲位，各方勢力鬥爭激烈。康熙本有意將皇位傳給十四太子（伍衛國　飾），但四太子胤禛（萬梓良　飾）野心勃勃，早想謀奪皇位，唯不得父皇寵愛。十四太子的心腹曾靜（姜大衛　飾）是名武林高手，看穿四太子的奸計，多次勤告十四太子要先下手為強。四太子流落民間，結識了義勇雙全的漢族女子呂四娘（米雪　飾），為得皇位，他請來僧人以巫術施害，又派心腹年羹堯誅殺異己，命四娘偷走和篡改傳位詔書。最終，在各方協助下，四太子更打敗曾靜，後毒害康熙，宣
布父皇駕崩，成\扔n上皇位，改號為雍正。

雍正及曾靜同時錯愛四娘；眾太子為報殺父之仇，欲集結重奪儲位；雍正疑心重重，後更成為濫殺無辜的冷血君主。雍正周旋於兒女私情和宮廷明爭暗鬥中，清廷誓掀起一片足以改變歷史的腥風血雨……

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ATV'S 80'S OLDIES DRAMA TV S Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I highly recommend buying and watching this ATV's 1980's drama tv series since I have purchased it and enjoyed watching it. This is MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN TODAY'S RECENT DRAMA TV SERIES. This oldies ATV drama tv series have received good viewers' ratings during its initial first broadcast in Hong Kong which its why they tried to do sequel on it. But the sequel its not as good as this pre-sequel. To those interested viewers/consumers,
this 'DYNASTY I' is also released in dual audio languages in one complete boxset under the "Mainland China" tv series section at a less lower price.

Man Suet Yee is great here.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you are a big fan of Man Suet Yee, pls .don't miss this Martial Art Series. It is the Part II in the next generation of Cheng Lung Emperor. Man Suet Yee is the girl who protects the emperor with her great KungFu Skill. I heard that she had to practice the flighting Skill from the KungFu instructor before stared in this seires as this role(Kong-Kong Erh) required the good Flighting Skill all the series.

One of ATV's best drama tv series Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I would recommend this ATV drama tv series to people since its overall good even much BETTER than today's TVB & ATV drama series.

The themesong is great in terms of music & singing.
The storyline & appropriate casts & acting is overall good.

I wished more of HONG KONG ATV DRAMA TV SERIES are RELEASED IN ORIGINAL CANTONESE AUDIO OR DUAL AUDIO OF CANTONESE & dubbed-mandarin audio on VCDs boxsets of productions of the 1980's & 1990's--the good oldies atv drama tv series.

I have this and it's a complete copy of Part II (the part with Leslie in it). I'm not sure what the U.S. version is, though.
