    MBC drama Shopaholic Louis demonstrates the incalculable value of love through the improbable romance between a shopaholic man and a countryside girl. Seo In Guk (38 Revenue Collection Unit) stars as an amnesiac heir from France who learns about true love after meeting a sweet village girl played by Nam Ji Hyun (What Happens to My Family?) Their love story turns into a complicated love square involving Yoon Sang Hyun's (Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi) workaholic online shopping mall director and his capable subordinate portrayed by Lim Se Mi (Love on a Rooftop). The upbeat romantic comedy is directed by Lee Sang Yeob (Mr. Back) and written by rookie screenwriter Oh Ji Young. Seo In Guk won Excellence Award at the 2016 MBC Drama Awards, where Nam Ji Hyun was crowned Best New Actress.

    After the death of his parents, Louis (Seo In Guk) becomes the sole surviving successor to a large business. To escape his boring life, the pampered heir resorts to retail therapy and turns into a shopaholic fashionista. While on his way to visit his ill grandmother, he loses his memory in a car accident and starts living on the streets. Village girl Bok Shil (Nam Ji Hyun), who goes to the city to find her runaway brother, meets homeless Louis and ends up becoming his caretaker.

    Misaeng screenwriter Jung Yoon Jung returns with her second comic-based drama The Bride of Habaek, a spin-off of Yoon Mi Kyung's popular comic. The historical fantasy romance is transplanted to modern Korea in tvN's fantasy romcom directed by Kim Byung Soo (The Three Musketeers). Nam Joo Hyuk (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) takes the lead role of the God of Water, who is caught in a love square with a psychiatrist portrayed by Shin Se Kyung (Six Flying Dragons), the Goddess of Water portrayed by f(x) member Krystal (Prison Playbook), and the God of Winds portrayed by Gong Myung (Drinking Solo). Im Ju Hwan (Oh My Ghost), Lee Kyung Young (D-Day), Kim Tae Hwan (My Amazing Boyfriend), Jung Dong Hwan (Mask) and Song Won Geun (Apgujeong Midnight Sun) also co-star in the drama.

    Every 3,000 years, red water appears in the Water Nation to foretell a new king. To secure the throne, the God of Water Ha Baek (Nam Joo Hyuk) sets off to the human world in search of the magical stones to make the imperial seal. Heavily indebted psychiatrist Yoon So Ah (Shin Se Kyung) plans to sell her ring to clear her debt but encounters Ha Baek, who believes that she is his servant. The narcissistic water god tries to subdue So Ah with his charm so she will help him find the magical stones, which are now kept by the Goddess of Water Moo Ra (Krystal).

    Prosecutor-in-training Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) discovers that her boyfriend Hee Joon (Chan Sung) cheated on her. After breaking up with Hee Joon, she is assigned to work with prosecutor Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook). Hee Joon returns to Eun Bong's home to pack his things but is mysteriously stabbed to death. Suddenly pinpointed as a murder suspect, Bong Hee gets released with the help of Ji Wook. Though Ji Wook gets demoted for assisting Bong Hee, he decides to help her find the real culprit to prove her innocence.
