    Following the drama The Light in Your Eyes, Han Ji Min (Miss Baek) and Nam Joo Hyuk (The Great Battle) partner up again for the melodramatic film Josée. Based on Japanese writer Tanabe Seiko's short story Josee, the Tiger and the Fish, director Kim Jong Kwan's (Persona) romantic feature follows the brightest moments of Josée and her lover.

    Josée (Han Ji Min), who uses a wheelchair, lives with her grandmother in a house filled with books that allow her to be free from reality. One day, university student Young Seok (Nam Joo Hyuk) helps her get home, and she treats him to a meal in return. After encountering for a few times, they start to grow feelings for each other. While Young Seok gradually approaches her, Josée pushes him away as she deals with these unfamiliar feelings.

    Jeon Do Yeon (Birthday) and Jung Woo Sung (Innocent Witness) explore greed in Beasts Clawing at Straws! The crime thriller is based on Sone Keisuke's same-titled novel about eight strangers entangled in lies and betrayal over money. Besides the two leads, Bae Sung Woo (The Great Battle), Youn Yuh Jung (Canola), Shin Hyun Bin (Sunset in My Hometown), Jung Man Shik (Rampant), Jin Kyung (Love+Sling) and Jung Ga Ram (The Odd Family: Zombie on Sale) also took part in director Kim Yong Hoon's first feature. Beasts Clawing at Straws won the Special Jury Award at the 49th International Film Festival Rotterdam.

    After the sudden disappearance of his girlfriend Yeon Hee (Jeon Do Yeon), Tae Young (Jung Woo Sung) needs to repay a large amount of debt for her. Working part-time at a sauna, Joong Man (Bae Sung Woo) makes ends meet living with his wife Young Sun (Jin Kyung) and his mother Soon Ja (Youn Yuh Jung), who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Mi Ran (Shin Hyun Bin) works as a prostitute because of her husband's debt, yet illegal immigrant Jin Tae (Jung Ga Ram) proposes to kill her husband for her. These eight people show the dark side of humanity while chasing after a bag of money that may change their destiny.

    Sung Dong Il (Metamorphosis) and Kim Hee Won (The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful) star as loan sharks who have to take care of a little Pawn! Park So Yi (Deliver Us From Evil) and Ha Ji Won (Chronicle of a Blood Merchant) play the young and adult versions of the female protagonist in director Kang Dae Kyu's (Harmony) box office hit.     Back in 1993, the tough and rough Doo Seok (Sung Dong Il) and Jong Bae (Kim Hee Won) went to collect debt from single mom Myung Ja (Lee Yun Jin), who's an illegal immigrant. She gave her daughter Seung Yi (Park So Yi) to them as the pawn, and then got deported out of the blue. A treasure came into Doo Seok and Jong Bae's lives without any notice, and the three of them form a strong family bond beyond blood relations.
