Lee Jong Suk takes on his first villain role in the noir thriller V.I.P. by New World director Park Hoon Jung. The heartthrob transforms into a North Korean criminal pursued by officials from South Korea, North Korea and the Interpol. Focusing on the political power struggle between different institutions, the star-studded crime drama co-stars Jang Dong Gun (No Tears for the Dead), Kim Myung Min (Proof of Innocence), Park Hee Soon (The Suspect) and Park Sung Woong (The Tooth and the Nail).
Cold-blooded Kim Kwang Il (Lee Jong Suk) is a North Korean defector whose father is a high-ranking official in the country. Suspected to be the culprit behind a series of killings in the South, Kwang Il gets chased by South Korean inspector Chae Yi Do (Kim Myung Min). However, Yi Do's investigation is obstructed by National Intelligence Service agent Park Jae Hyuk (Jang Dong Gun), who is backed by the CIA. Despite the irrefutable evidence against Kwang Il, Yi Do is pressured to release him and even gets suspended from the force. North Korean police officer Lee Dae Beom (Park Hee Soon), who secretly enters the South, joins Yi Do to track down the serial killer.

I Can Speak lays bare the pain of World War II comfort women through the heartwarming tale of a grumpy old lady who wishes to speak to the world about her past as a sex slave. Na Moon Hee (Miss Granny), who takes the lead role of a trouble-making granny with a sorrowful past, was crowned Best Actress at the 37th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, the 17th Director's Cut Awards and the 38th Blue Dragon Film Awards, where director Kim Hyun Seok (C'est si bon) was named Best Director. Lee Je Hoon (Anarchist from Colony) co-stars as a civil servant who teaches the protagonist English, while Lee Sang Hee (Mothers), Park Cheol Min (Operation Chromite) and Lee Ji Hoon (My Fair Lady) appear in supporting roles.
Ok Boon (Na Moon Hee) is a picky elderly woman who constantly files complaints at the local government office. Everyone working in the office is scared of her, except principled junior civil servant Min Jae (Lee Je Hoon). After learning that Min Jae is a great English speaker, Ok Boon asks him to teach her English and the two soon become unlikely friends. Min Jae starts to realize why Ok Boon wants to learn English when her painful past comes to light.

Ko Su (Lucid Dream) and Kim Joo Hyuk (Confidential Assignment) take audiences into a fierce legal battle in the heart-racing suspense thriller The Tooth and the Nail. Based on Bill S. Ballinger's 1955 same-titled novel, the 1948-set remake follows a vengeful magician and the country's richest man who become entangled in a mysterious murder case. Directed by Kim Whee (The Chosen: Forbidden Cave ) and Jung Sik (The Epitaph), the mystery flick also features Park Sung Woong (The Deal), Moon Sung Keun (Forgotten) and Im Hwa Young (One Day).
After Korea's liberation from Japanese rule, nightclub magician Seok Jin (Ko Su) encounters Ha Yeon (Im Hwa Young), a homeless Busan girl who needs a job. He hires her to be his assistant and they soon fall in love. When he discovers some illegal money plates in Ha Yeon's luggage, Seok Jin realizes that his girlfriend has kept a great secret from him. After Ha Yeon's death, he finds out that the plates belonged to Ha Yeon's uncle and they were both killed by Nam Do Jin (Kim Joo Hyuk), the most powerful man in the country. Seok Jin works undercover as Do Jin's driver while waiting for revenge.
