Award-winning director Na Hong Jin (The Chaser, The Yellow Sea) draws on the concept of exorcism in the blockbuster suspense The Wailing. Screened at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, the highly acclaimed horror mystery thriller about a police officer who investigates inexplicable deaths with the help of a shaman stars Kwak Do Won (The Magician), Hwang Jung Min (Veteran), Kunimura Jun (Attack on Titan), Chun Woo Hee (Han Gong Ju) and child star Kim Hwan Hee (Born to Sing).
A series of mysterious deaths and illnesses takes place in an apparently peaceful village. The victims are thought to be killed by poisonous wild mushrooms, but police officer Jong Goo (Kwak Do Won) hears from the mysterious Moo Myung (Chun Woo Hee) that a Japanese man (Kunimura Jun) is involved in the deaths. Desperate to heal her granddaughter Hyo Jin (Kim Hwan Hee) who is also infected with the same virus, Jong Goo's mother seeks help from shaman Il Gwang (Hwang Jung Min). Since Hyo Jin still suffers from pain, Jong Goo sends his daughter to the hospital instead and goes to hunt the suspect down. However, Il Gwang believes that someone else is responsible for the murders.

In Indian mythology, Asuras are evil demigods who fight each other ceaselessly. Musa the Warrior helmer Kim Sung Su uses the mythological beings as an allegory for the corrupt protagonists of crime thriller Asura. In his fifth collaboration with the director, Jung Woo Sung, who won Best Actor at the 17th Busan Film Critics Awards, portrays a crooked detective who is entangled in a dilemma between betraying his corrupt boss played by Hwang Jung Min (The Wailing) or being charged by Kwak Do Won's (The Wailing) ruthless prosecutor. Ju Ji Hoon (The Treacherous) co-stars as a rookie cop and the protagonist's sidekick. The gangster film made its world premiere at the 41st Toronto Film Festival and screened at various other film festivals including the 2016 Fantastic Fest and London Korean Film Festival.
Detective Han Do Kyung (Jung Woo Sung) works for mayor Park Sung Bae (Hwang Jung Min) in order to pay his wife's medical bills. Money-grubbing Park wants the profits from city redevelopment and requires Han to do all the dirty work for him. However, prosecutor Kim Cha In (Kwak Do Won), who possesses evidence of Han's misdeeds, blackmails him into turning against Park. To escape from the difficult situation, Han persuades partner Moon Seon Mo (Ju Ji Hoon) to take over his job and serve as the mayor's enforcer. But things turn out to be far more complicated than he can imagine.

Twelve years after the smash hit Welcome to Dongmakgol, director Park Kwang Hyun creates a Fabricated City in his sophomore feature, an action crime thriller that depicts a gloomy society controlled by an autocratic power. Best known for hit TV dramas like The K2 and Healer, Ji Chang Wook makes his first foray onto the silver screen as an unemployed game addict who gets framed for murder. Shim Eun Kyung (Missing You) and Ahn Jae Hong (The King of Jokgu) co-star as fellow gamers who help prove the protagonist's innocence, while Kim Sang Ho (The Tiger: An Old Hunter's Tale) plays a brutal prisoner.
After being expelled from the national taekwondo team, Kwon Yoo (Ji Chang Wook) becomes addicted to computer games. While playing in an Internet café, the unemployed youth receives a call from a mysterious girl who asks him to help find her phone. After returning the phone to the caller, he is suddenly arrested and accused of raping and murdering a high school girl. His lawyer (Oh Jung Se, Life Risking Romance) persuades him to admit to the crime but Kwon Yoo insists on his innocence. He is eventually sent to jail where he gets cruelly beaten by fellow inmate Ma Deok Soo (Kim Sang Ho). After escaping from the prison with the help of a sympathetic serial killer, Kwon Yoo teams up with other gamers, including genius hacker Yeo Wool (Shim Eun Kyung) and special effects specialist Demolition (Ahn Jae Hong), to uncover the dark secret behind the case.
