Jo Jin Woong (The Spy Gone North) and Honey Lee (Extreme Job) uncover a Black Money case among high-ranking officials in director Chung Ji Young's (White Badge) crime mystery based on a real-life government corruption scandal in Korea. Lee Geung Young (Steel Rain), Kang Shin Il (Pandora), Choi Dok Mun (The Drug King), Jo Han Chul (Ashfall) and Heo Sung Tae (Mal-Mo-E: The Secret Mission) also co-star in the movie, while Lee Sung Min (The Spy Gone North), Moon Sung Keun (Burning) and Ryu Seung Soo (Finding Mr. Destiny) make special appearances.
Prosecutor Yang Min Hyuk (Jo Jin Woong) is well known for his capability and strong work ethics in the field. His life is shaken when he is accused of sexually assaulting a suspect (Lee Na Ra) in the case he is investigating after she is found dead by suicide. To clear his name, he digs into the case and the background of the woman, only to find that she was a witness for the sale of Daehan Bank, which was sold at an unusually low price.

Eight ordinary citizens of different backgrounds ¬– played by Park Hyung Sik, Baek Soo Jang (Miss Baek), Kim Mi Kyung (C'est Si Bon), Yoon Gyung Ho (Intimate Strangers), Seo Jeong Yeon (In Between Seasons), Jo Han Chul (Default), Kim Hong Pa (Mal-Mo-E: The Secret Mission) and Cho Soo Hyang (The Princess and the Matchmaker) – gather in 2008 as the nation's first ever jury panel for a criminal trial, which is led by a judge played by Moon So Ri. Juror 8 is director Hong Seung Wan's first feature in 14 years, and also marks Park Hyung Sik's silver screen debut.
All Korean citizens without criminal records who are aged 20 or above and not working in legal professions are qualified to perform jury duty if they are selected. Rookie entrepreneur Kwon Nam Woo (Park Hyung Sik) is chosen as one of the eight jurors for the country's first jury trial of a criminal case. Judge Kim Joon Kyeom (Moon So Ri) presides over the trial. Though the panel members all have different backgrounds, age, jobs, personalities and opinions, they come to realize the importance of their roles and help seek out the truth.

One of Korea's most well-known teen melodramas of the sixties, acclaimed director Jung Jin Woo's Early Rain is a romantic story starring Moon Hee (Love Me Once Again) and Shin Sung Il (A Day off). On one rainy day, mechanic Cheol Soo (Shin Sung Il) encounters Young Hee (Moon Hee), who works as a maid at the French ambassador's home. Each feeling inferior about their background, the two fake their own identities, with Cheol Soo pretending to be the son of a businessman and Young Hee to be the daughter of the French ambassador. Slowly developing feelings for each other, Cheol Soo and Young Hee promise to only date on rainy days, just so Young Hee can wear the expensive raincoat she received from her boss.
