A big family secret comes to light in KBS's high-rated comedy My Father Is Strange! The 52-episode drama series follows an ordinary family whose peace is disturbed when an idol actor claims to be their long-lost son. Kim Young Cheol (Happy Home) stars as a father of four whose family also includes Kim Hae Suk (Yeah, That's How It Is), Min Jin Woong (Drinking Solo), Lee Yoo Ri (The Promise), Jung So Min (Because This Is My First Life) and Ryu Hwa Young (Mad Dog). The veteran actor was honored with the Grand Prize at the 31st KBS Drama Awards. Lee Yoo Ri received the Top Excellence Award, while Ryu Hwa Young and teen star Jung Joon Won (Save Me) were named Best New Actress and Best Young Actor, respectively. Min Jin Woong, who plays the family's eldest son, won his first acting prize at the 10th Korea Drama Awards. A collaboration between writer Lee Jung Seon (You're All Surrounded) and director Lee Jae Sang (Lovers of Music), My Father Is Strange co-stars Lee Joon (Woman with a Suitcase), Ryu Su Young (My Lawyer, Mr. Jo), Ahn Hyo Seop (Entertainer), Lee Joon Hyuk (Love in the Moonlight), Kang Suk Woo (Glorious Day) and Song Ok Suk (38 Revenue Collection Unit). AOA's Chan Mi and April's Na Eun appear in cameo roles.

Byun Han Su (Kim Young Cheol) and his wife Na Young Sil (Kim Hae Suk) have four children. Their eldest son Joon Young (Min Jin Woong) becomes a civil servant after failing the entry exam for the past four years. Daughter Hye Young (Lee Yoo Ri) is a lawyer at a famous law firm, while Ra Young (Ryu Hwa Young) teaches yoga at a training center. Mi Young (Jung So Min) works as the manager of idol-turned-actor Ahn Joong Hee (Lee Joon), who is known for his poor acting. Joong Hee has been cast in his first leading role but he is quickly replaced due to his unconvincing portrayal of a father-son relationship. To secure his role, the actor decides to find his long-lost father whose real identity is only known to Han Su and Young Sil.

Based on renowned Japanese novelist Yamazaki Toyoko's representative work, MBC's critically acclaimed drama Inside the White Tower, a.k.a. The Great White Tower, brings viewers deep into the political inner workings of the medical field. The drama takes a satirical look at malpractice and powerplay at a university hospital, contrasting the paths and personalities of two doctors played by Kim Myung Min (The Immortal Lee Soon Shin) and Lee Seon Gyun (The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince). Inside the White Tower was a critical and ratings hit in South Korea, with Ahn Pan Seok winning Best Producer and Kim Myung Min beating out some very strong competition for the Best Leading Actor statuette at the 43rd Baeksang Awards. The drama stands out amongst the current wave of lightweight offerings with its intelligent, well-written, and uncompromising story, situating the little known wheeling and dealing of medicine in a tight and interesting tangle of deception, friendship, and romance. What really goes on Inside the White Tower? You may not want to know.

Brilliant and ambitious, assistant professor Jang Joon Hyuk (Kim Myung Min) is a rising star in the Myeongin University Hospital surgery department. His knowledge and expertise is undeniable, but his cavalier confidence and cold personality has earned him more than a few enemies including the department head. While Jang's drive stems from a desire for success and advancement, fellow doctor Choi Do Young (Lee Seon Gyun) is committed to the well-being of his patients, leading to frequent clashes with the practices and personnel within the hospital. With the head of the surgery department retiring, Jang seems to be the clear successor until a new rival emerges in the form of Noh Min Guk (Cha In Pyo, Star in My Heart), who has the backing of the department head. Jang, however, is determined to win at all costs.

After Nie Feng and Qiu Chao Feng get together, Song Zi Yun buys out Nie Feng's business stake. In the end, the piece of rock that they had previously acquired turns out to be a valuable jade deposit. Song Zi Yun becomes rich overnight, while Nie Feng struggles to get by. Eventually, Chao Feng leaves Nie Feng for Song Zi Yun. Three decades later in 1980, Song Zi Yun has become one of Hong Kong's richest tycoons. Nie Feng lives in Thailand and continues to hold a grudge against Song Zi Yun for cheating him of his wealth and woman. The conflicts of the past are reawakened when Nie's daughter Xiao Qian (Candice Yu) and Song's son Xiao Ti (Ricky Lau) cross paths.
