Kizu Natsuki's BL manga Given about the music and relationships of a young amateur rock band was adapted into a hit anime series in 2019, and followed with the 2020 feature film Given the Movie that focuses more on the relationship between Haruki and Akihiko. Given side story Uragawa no Sonzai reveals a story about Ritsuka and Mafuyu that wasn't covered in the feature film. Given: Uragawa no Sonzai was first released as an original animation disc (OAD) with the limited edition seventh volume of the manga.
In Given: Uragawa no Sonzai, the band is practicing hard in hopes of getting a chance to perform at a rock festival. Mafuyu encounters a bottleneck composing new songs, and Ritsuka can only quietly watch over him. However, the two get into a conflict over a small matter.
This edition comes with both Given the Movie and Given: Uragawa no Sonzai.
