From PTS and The World Between Us director Lin Chun Yang comes the period drama Gold Leaf, Taiwan's first Hailu Hakka-language series. Based on a novel written by Huang Kuo Hua, the drama is set in the 1950s and depicts the ups and downs of the tea industry in Beipu, Hsinchu. Cindy Lien, James Wen, Simon Hsueh, Kuo Tzu Chien, Hsu An Chi, Li Hsing and Jag Huang form the drama's impressive ensemble cast.

A tea merchant's daughter who refuses to accept the fate of marriage, a rich man who loves the countryside, a frustrated POW searching for his roots, a poor student striving for the top, an extraordinary female tea master who lacks confidence, a loyal general who is disregarded... Gold Leaf shows the struggles, enterprise and resilience of these ordinary people during the turbulence of the time.
