ミニアルバム『KISS TOUR』で日本デビューを果たした韓国実力No.1 K-POPバンドLed apple。日本での次のステップとなる今回のリリースは日本盤としては初のシングル盤。しかも1曲目、2曲目とも日本制作によるオリジナル曲。表題曲「Greatest World」は日本とスウェーデンの混成作家チームによる楽曲で、エレクトロの質感の中にもギターのカッティングが印象的な、踊れるロックバンドと評されるLed appleらしいダンスロック・チューン。カップリング曲は日本デビュー曲「ギミ・君・LOVE」を作詞した平義隆が作詞・作曲した「いま、僕の名前を呼んで」。冬らしい美しい旋律にボーカル: ハンビョルの歌唱力が映える極上バラードに仕上がっている。サウンド・プロデュースは2曲ともAki Hishikawa。2曲とも共通して、逆境に立ちながらも愛や夢を追いかける主人公の姿が描かれており、クリスマスの時期に大切な人やものを想い浮かべて温かい気持ちになれるシングルになっている。もう1曲のカップリングとして、FUNKY MONKEY BABYS「希望の唄」カヴァーを収録。メンバー絵柄のカード5枚のうち1枚をランダムで封入。応募券付き。
