Director: Chang Cheh

Internationally acclaimed director Chang Cheh brings back David Chiang and Ti Lung for the second time in this classic "heroic bloodshed" epic Have Sword, Will Travel, it's title inspired by the "lond gunman" Hollywood hit TV show Have Gun, Will Travel. Ti Lung is the armor of an "armored carriage" taking silver to the capital. Along the way a mysterious knight stalks him, David Chiang. Although he appears to be the robber, he turns out to be his savior.

I Like David Chiang's Character...he stole the sho Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
David Chiang really is a wonderful actor, he shows so much emotion in his eyes. The Character he plays is (Yi Lo) who is a down and out loner, looking for work. Li Ching and Ti Lung play a couple who is soon to be married, helping out to deliver a large cargo from one city to another.
I enjoyed the story, as I felt it was well written for it being in 1970. It was a film I saw growing up, so it brings back fond memories of that era.
David's acting was really impressed me, he was the underdog, the hero. He was very convincing as a young swordsman fighting for the love of one woman. I enjoyed the final fight scene.Great Plot... Who will be the lone survivor ?

It was good back then Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
This was one of the top "box office" the year this movie was released. I enjoyed it back then. But watching it this time round I find it such a drag. There is no "sparks" between David Chiang and Li Ching. But the "jealousy" of Ti Lung was well played.

Have Sword Will Travel Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is not just a sword-fighting movie but involved a triangular romance. I like David Chiang's "coolness", Li Ching's charm and Ti Lung's arrogance which contributed to the success of this classic. Two thumps up.
