Singer-actor Seo In Guk returns to tvN for the energetic comedy series The King of High School Manners (a.k.a. High School King of Savvy). The popular star plays a high school student again after Answer Me 1997, but this time he takes on dual roles and a double life. Warmhearted and hilarious, the series unfolds the adventures of an immature high school boy who suddenly gets roped into posing as his brother and working at a company. Lee Ha Na (Triple) co-stars as his secretary and girlfriend who's in for a big surprise, while Lee Soo Hyuk (Valid Love) is his rival in work and love. The King of High School Manners also features up-and-coming stars Lee Tae Hwan (Pride and Prejudice) and Lee Yul Eum (Can't Take It Anymore) in supporting roles as the hero's friends.

Lee Min Suk (Seo In Guk) is just your typical headstrong and mouthy high school student who cares more about sports than studying. His older brother Hyung Suk, whom everyone says looks just like him, is supposed to come back to Korea after living overseas for years. On the day of his arrival, however, Hyung Suk is a no-show. Instead, Hyung Suk calls and asks Min Suk to secretly pose as him and take up his new executive position at a large company until he returns. And thus begins Min Suk's crazy double life! On top of the complications of balancing work, school and hockey, he also falls in love with his awkward secretary Jung Soo Young (Lee Ha Na). But what happens when the truth comes out and his brother returns?

The English subtitles are pretty good, as I've come to expect from PMP for Korean-drama releases, though you can find some strange phrases. I like the drama, otherwise I wouldn't have bought the DVDs, I'm happy with my purchase.
